MCC Faculty Kicks Off New Semester with "New Semester, MCC Faculty will Conquer" Program

MCC Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs hosted a kick-off program for full-time instructors, entitled "New Semester, MCC Faculty will Conquer," on March 7, 2023, at MCC Hometown Bar and Restaurant. The program aimed to prepare the faculty members for the upcoming semester, providing them with an opportunity to gear up and get into the right mindset.

The program was divided into separate schedules for each institute, which includes the Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS), Institute of Business and Computing Education (IBCE), Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM), and Institute of Teacher Education (ITE). The program for each institute was designed to cater to their goals for the semester.

The program featured awarding ceremonies, games, and socialization wherein the faculty members can get to know each other better and build stronger relationships. The program also served as an avenue for the college to show appreciation to its teaching personnel and acknowledge their commitment and loyal service.

“I really appreciate everyone sa effort na ine-exert niyo sa institute, alam ko kung gaano kayo ka-dedicated at ka-passionate sa teaching,” noted Dr. Romeo Erese III, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. He also highlighted that strong relationship among colleagues makes the work much lighter to bear.

Through such programs, MCC is able to foster gratitude and strengthen relationships among the teaching staff. With the support of its committed faculty members, MCC is confident that it will achieve its goals and provide its students with a well-rounded and enriching academic experience.
