Concert for a Cause: Silent Sanctuary at MCC

Mabalacat City College (MCC) successfully concluded its Concert for a Cause featuring Silent Sanctuary last 15 March 2024. As a community college, this exemplified MCC’s commitment to serving its community through organizing activities that supports meaningful causes.

The crowd enthusiastically enjoyed the performance, as they sang along to the band's hit songs, jamming energetically to the music. Silent Sanctuary vocalist Raymund "Sarkie" Sarangay expressed his delight at the audience's response, highlighting that despite the generational gap, they were able to recognize most of their songs.

Additionally, other performers including North Bound band, IBCE Dancers, Maria Faustina Sibal, and Sellicha Nubla contributed to the excitement and added to the overall success of the event. Furthermore, the winners of different competitions from the IBCE days last 18-19 December 2023 were also awarded.

Silent Sanctuary was also grateful that the concert was for a good cause. Part of the proceeds from the concert will be directed to Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth, the chosen beneficiary of the IBCE Institute Student Council. This was also emphasized by IBCE Dean Dr. Myrna C. Calma during her welcome remarks where she noted that all the hard work of the students will be for a noble cause.

The concert was organized by the Institute of Business and Computing Education (IBCE) Institute Student Council. Through initiatives like this, MCC continues to inspire its students to become future leaders who are actively engaged in serving their communities.
