Mabalacat City College Participates in the 11th Induction Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Mabalacat-Clark

Professor Raymond John Vergara, Vice-President for External Affairs, Professor Grace Canlas, and Dr. Eduard Ramos from the Institute of Arts, Sciences, and Teacher Education were inducted as new members of the Rotary Club of Mabalacat-Clark in the 11th Induction and Turnover Ceremony last July 2, 2021, at Side Griller Restaurant, Mabalacat City.

Mr. Vergara was also appointed as the Officer for New Generation and Rotaract and Chairman for Rotaract and Interact Clubs.

The Rotary Club of Mabalacat-Clark is a local arm of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. The organization's more than 35,000 local arms or clubs work together to promote peace, fight disease, support education, and grow local economies. 

Mabalacat City College purposively revived its school-based Rotaract Organization that promotes international understanding, community projects, and leadership development through Rotary grants/ funding. The MCC management supported its professors in extending the value of service and commitment to the community.

Mabalacat City College (MCC) spearheaded the celebration of the International Day of Peace with a World Flag Ceremony on September 27, 2024, —an event that highlighted the institution’s ongoing commitment to fostering unity, diversity, and peace within the community. In partnership with Mabalacat Community High School and supported by the MCC Campus Youth Ministry, the event transformed the campus into a vibrant display of global citizenship.
