MCC Alumni Association Conducts its 1st Virtual MCC Alumni General Assembly

Mabalacat City College Alumni Association, in partnership with the Office of Vice President for External Affairs, conducted its 1st Virtual MCC Alumni General Assembly last June 25, 2021, via Microsoft Teams.

The program presented a virtual tour of the current MCC, including its Scholarships and Grants and Career and Placement Services, Alumni ID proposed by Mr. Niel Rigdao, MCC Alumni Association President, Partner Companies and Industries explained by Engr. Daryl Quioc, Assistant Vice President for External Affairs.

On the other hand, MCC Alumni Officers also addressed various concerns including the Yearbook. Mr. Niel Rigdao said, “It is really a great opportunity for us to give considerations and suggestions in improving our services and the initial offering will be a Barkada Shot with acquainted photographers printed and digitalized, and it’s free for the Yearbook”. Mr. Emmanuel Layson, MCC Alumni Association Vice President gave his Closing Remarks, followed by the MCC Hymn performed by the MCC President’s Chorale.

“Mabalacat City College Alumni Association’s launching of 1st Virtual General Assembly paved the way in the implementation of MCC's requisite projects. It disseminates the information on our upcoming projects and agenda and of course, this is not possible without the support of the Vice President for External Affairs Office.

It is our pleasure to introduce the benefits and perks that the Association offers. It includes Alumni I.D and discounts you can avail with the partner industries of the College. We highly encourage the graduates to become MCC Alumni members. MCC Alumni I.D is part of the initial proposal of the institution. As a Securities and Exchange Commission registered institution, MCC Alumni Association wants to promote the college through our programs.

Hopefully, for the upcoming years, MCC Alumni Association will become an avenue for the development and improvement of the community as part of our extension services.”, Mr. Rigdao added.

The MCC Alumni Association conducted its first virtual assembly to ensure the smooth and proper coordination between the graduates and the administration of the College. The Association is committed to create opportunities and to give back and become a mindful catalyst of affirmative improvement in the community through portraying Excellence, Integrity, and Honesty as a way of life.

Recognizing the vital role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mabalacat City College participated the first quarterly meeting of the Universities SDG Action Network (USAN)-Pampanga, on 24 February 2025 at DHVSU Hostel. Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region III and six partner universities and colleges also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their commitment in this initiative.

MCC Exhibits First-Ever TISArt at National Arts Month Celebration

In celebration of the National Arts Month, Mabalacat City College hosted the first-ever TISArt, a chalk art exhibit, on 22 February 2025 in its annual art exhibit. This is in collaboration student organizations, PANTALAKAYAN and Campus Youth Ministry with this year’s theme is “Leguan: Balakat Art Exhibit,” held at Tabnuan: Mabalacat Cultural Center.
