MCC Conducts 1st Virtual Town Hall Meeting

Mabalacat City College conducted its 1st Virtual Town Hall Meeting organized by People Management, People Experience Unit, and Health Services Unit via Microsoft Teams.

In her opening remarks, Atty. Charmaine Lansangan-Venturina, Chief of Staff/Development Management Officer IV, expressed her delight in the initiative of the involved offices.

Ms. Florient G. Non, Health Services Unit Head, reiterated the Joint Memos and Advisories concerning Health and Safety Protocols issued by the College.

"The Administration is serious in implementing health and safety protocols. This is to protect every employee of the college in line with the surging case of Covid-19 Delta Variant"

Ms. Charisse Morales, Talent Acquisition Officer of the People Management Unit, shared a new Personal Requisition Form regarding the additional workforce or replacement of the workforce. The new form is introduced to lessen the number of forms to be filled up by the heads of each office.

Further, Mr. Genesis Z. Macapagal, introduced new policies concerning MCC Career and Advancement and Pathing Program for Employee Development (MCC CAPPED), MCC Learning and Development Deals for Employment Readiness (MCC LADDER), MCC Significant and Top-Notch Achievements Rewards System (MCC STARS), and MCC Scholarship for Professional Advancement Through Continuing Education (MCC SPACE).

"As much as possible we want our training to be specific and relevant to our employees. We would encourage units to participate in developmental activities suited to the identified needs for the current position of employees to acquire possible developmental and professional growth. Aside from that, the Administration also wants to give incentives and awards for Units, Organizations, Teaching, and Non-Teaching Staff. This is to recognize the employee's effort in delivering excellent service to the college", Mr. Macapagal added.

Recognizing the vital role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mabalacat City College participated the first quarterly meeting of the Universities SDG Action Network (USAN)-Pampanga, on 24 February 2025 at DHVSU Hostel. Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region III and six partner universities and colleges also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their commitment in this initiative.

MCC Exhibits First-Ever TISArt at National Arts Month Celebration

In celebration of the National Arts Month, Mabalacat City College hosted the first-ever TISArt, a chalk art exhibit, on 22 February 2025 in its annual art exhibit. This is in collaboration student organizations, PANTALAKAYAN and Campus Youth Ministry with this year’s theme is “Leguan: Balakat Art Exhibit,” held at Tabnuan: Mabalacat Cultural Center.
