MCC Conducts 5th Virtual Town Hall Meeting

Mabalacat City College conducted its 5th Virtual Town Hall Meeting facilitated by the People Experience Unit, and Planning and Legal Unit via Microsoft Teams on September 24, 2021.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Basty Sebastian, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs expressed his gratitude to the involved offices in partaking in the series of Virtual Town Hall meetings.

The People Experience Unit Head Mr. Genesis Macapagal, shared various forms under the recent policy, MCC Career Advancement and Pathing and Program for Employee Development (CAPPED). He mentioned that these assessment forms, in consultation with the immediate supervisors that act as career coaches, summarize the career direction and development of every employee.

Subsequently, Atty. Charmaine Lansangan-Venturina, Chief of Staff, introduced the Mentorship Policy of Mabalacat City College. The policy highlights the opportunity for anyone to be mentored by someone venerable from the MCC community. Being a formal agreement, a template of the contract between the mentor and a mentee is available from the Planning and Legal Unit.

Atty. Lansangan-Venturina also reiterated some of the existing policies that were already implemented including the Strategic and Tactical Plans and Operational Plans of the College. It includes a strategy map that summarizes all four (4) perspectives of the plan. “The goal of MCC is not only to sustain but to expand”, she further said.

Mabalacat City, December 19, 2024 – Taking education to the next level, US-based Kapampangan educator and content creator, Mak Mariano took the Mabalacat City College’s stage and shared his experiences and engaged the students in an entertaining and fun discussion, all the while inspiring those of them who wanted to take the same path. The event themed, “Pamakli Tamu Globally,” tackles topics on teaching internationally.
