MCC Student Organizations Express Support to the Newly Created Student Affairs and Support Services Division

October 25, 2021

Recognized Student Organizations pledged their unwavering support to the decision of the MCC Board of Trustees to create a separate division for Student Affairs and Support Services (SASS) this October 2021.

The SASS Division aside from being in charge of the different support units of the college like Library, Health, Guidance, Character Development, Sport and Athletics, and Digihub Units, will also oversee all the programs, activities, and projects to be spearheaded by the different student organizations through the Office of Student Affairs.

Organizations support this move of the management as a preparation for the expected increase of programs and services it intends to provide due to the projected increase of student population which will require more focused management and facilitation.

The Student Affairs and Support Services Division overseeing the overall quality of student life in MCC works closely with other divisions of the institution to ensure that the services it provides foster the development of students as they pursue their academic and career goals.
