The understanding aims to enhance the relations between the two institutions and promote academic and cultural exchange in various areas of education and research.

As a community college, MCC prioritizes providing quality education and opportunities to its students and the community. Through this MOU with TSU, MCC seeks to expand its reach and offer more programs and services that will benefit the community.

The creation and use of developmentally appropriate educational resources, collaborative educational programs, and cooperative seminars, conferences, and gatherings for early childhood education are some of the activities that both sides have agreed upon. In an effort to promote cross-national academic collaboration, the schools also agreed to share lab and research space.

Key representatives from both schools were present for the signing, including AVPAA Dr. Romeo Erese III, ITE Dean Dr. Arvina D. Sarmiento, and Program Heads Mr. Eldy Owen Layno and Engr. Aerish Angerie Arcilla from MCC. Dr. Jasper Jay Mendoza, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Joanne Marie Escalona, Chairperson for BECED, are all from TSU.

“This future endeavor of MCC and TSU involves a collaborative research among faculty of both institutions, specifically for Early Childhood Education as well as the utilization of facilities,” noted AVPAA Dr. Romeo Erese III.

This MOU with TSU is a testament to MCC's dedication to serving the community and promoting academic excellence through partnerships and collaborations.
