As a community college committed to securing the quality of education, Mabalacat City College takes great pride in the hard work and dedication of its members of the Board of Trustees. At a recent meeting held on 13 April 2023, MCC awarded certificates of appreciation to outgoing BOT members namely: Alumni President Mr. Niel Rigdao and Faculty President Prof. Rebecca Lising.

“This is one of the most supportive and cooperative members of Board of Trustees. They are very hardworking, dedicated, and committed. We are very happy to have worked with them”, MCC BOT Vice-Chairperson Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong highlighted. The college expressed its appreciation and recognition of the BOT members' contributions to the college's success. “Thank you very much for your support and contributions for the past 5 years”, expressed MCC BOT Chairperson, Hon. Mayor Crisostomo Garbo. The college wishes them well in their future endeavors.

Newly appointed members of the BOT, Mr. Mark Francis Agnote (MCC Alumni President) and Dr. Myrna Calma (Faculty President) took their oath of office before Mayor Garbo. They pledged their commitment to uphold the college's values and work towards its progress. The MCC community looked forward to the promising leadership they would provide.

“We’re anticipating that they will extend the same cooperation and support. We’ve known these people to be good members of the community, and with all the aspiration that we have, I’m sure, they will be supportive as well,” mentioned Dr. Ong.

MCC understands the importance of having strong leaders who can help steer the institution towards success. The BOT plays a critical role in this aspect – providing guidance, support, and strategic direction to ensure that the college achieves its objectives. With the newly appointed BOT members, the college is confident that it will continue to thrive and make a positive impact in the lives of its students and the community as a whole.
