Mabalacat City College is truly proud of the hard work and achievement of these fine young ladies—our dedicated researchers—whose study was recognized and presented at Sinupan Singsing: Center for Kapampangan Cultural Heritage and Research in Angeles City on August 30, 2025.

Their research, “The Decline of the Kapampangan Language: A Study of Sociocultural and Socioeconomic Factors,” highlights the importance of preserving our rich Kapampangan identity while shedding light on the challenges our language faces today.

???? Congratulations to our brilliant BSED English researchers:

✨ Alyzza Dawn Delos Reyes

✨ Abegail Lalaine Canlas

✨ Ranna Mae Yvez Almadin

Together with Dr. Michael A. Mesa, they presented their research before the esteemed team of Mr. Michael Pangilinan, Director of the Center.

This is not just a milestone for these young scholars, but also a meaningful opportunity for MCC researchers to engage deeply with the heritage and future of the Kapampangan language
