1st Batch of MESAA’s "Project Scholar" Receives Grant

Mabalacat City College Vice President for External Affairs Mr. Raymond John Vergara and Scholarships and Grants Coordinator Ms. Lacel Baluyut witnessed the turn-over ceremony of the 1st batch "Project Scholar" grantees of the Mabalacat Elementary School Alumni Association (MESAA) at the College's Office of the Vice President for External Affairs today, December 7, 2021.

The MESAA Project Scholar was approved by MESAA Board 2019 and 2020 under the leadership of then MESAA President, Dr. Angelita D. Romero. The project was officially launched in February 2021. MESAA takes pride in joining other groups in the City that sponsor grants and scholarships for the City College and is expected to continue and expand the project.

During the program, Dr. Angelita D. Romero, then MESAA President bestowed scholarship grants to Gabriel Michael Canlas, Ronald Kris De Lara, Allyza Bianca Gorre and Diana Elizabeth Pangilinan. Donors include Mr. Manolo and Mrs. Mina Magtoto-Lim, Dr. Chi Co and Mrs. Annabelle Dayrit Co and the MESAA Board.

MESAA strongly believes in the pivotal role of the human capital in the growth and development of a community reflective of the desired culture, value system and the citizens' way of life in general.
