Celebrating Excellence: MCC Back-to-back Victory

Mabalacat City College (MCC) celebrated the back-to-back achievements of Crimson Tribe students in a luncheon, titled “Celebrating Excellence: Mutya ng Pilipinas-Pampanga Queens and MCC’s CBLE Top 3 Triumph”, on 24 November 2023.

The celebration is dedicated to the 56 board passers in the Customs Broker Licensure Examinations (CBLE) 2023 where MCC was recognized by PRC as the 3RD Best Performing School. As well as to the bagging of crowns in Mutya ng Pilipinas-Pampanga, where IHTM stdents Anne Klein Castro and Maria Yvonne Crocker emerged as the title holder and 1st runner-up, respectively.

College President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong shared her immense pride and joy in these successes. “Malaking tagumpay ito hindi lang sa atin, kung hindi pati sa inyong mga magulang,” she shared. Dr. Ong also extended her gratitude to MCC Chairperson and City Mayor Hon. Crisostomo Garbo for his unwavering support. 

Meanwhile, BS Customs in Administration Program Head Mr. Benjamin D. Doroteo, recognized the journey of the students to claim their hard-earned licenses. “Congratulations and good luck to your next journey in your professional field,” he shared.

In her closing remarks, Vice President for Finance and Administration Ms. Happy Pelayo congratulated and urged the students to serve the community. “Serve with a heart and give forward to those who have helped you,” she emphasized.

Board passer and a first-generation graduate Jhoana Esguerra shared her joy in making her parents proud and thanked MCC for its support. “Ibang feeling na you'll make your parents proud. Thankful din sa MCC sa suporta. Lalo na Kay Sir Benjamin Doroteo,” she said.

MCC beams with pride and the Crimson Banner waves high with these successes. These are testaments to the unwavering efforts of the college to produce future professionals through quality education and creating an environment that encourages holistic development.
