CHRC Recognizes MCC as a Certified Member

The Clark Human Resources Council Inc. (CHRC) represented by its President Mr. Mikel Leroi Balansag and Vice President Ms. Jackielyn Navarrete recognized Mabalacat City College Chess Club as a certified member of the CHRC issued this month of May.

Clark Human Resources Council (CHRC) was formed in August 2009 by 60 locators of the Clark Freeport and elected its 1st Board of Directors. To assist the Directors in their organizing activities and in the formulation and implementation of CHRC’s initial programs, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) assigned the CDC Industrial Relations Unit (IRU) and the CILA Secretariat to act as the Council’s Program Coordinators.

MCC’s membership with the CHRC seeks to strengthen the ties of the institution with industries to broaden employment opportunities for students.

MCC Joins USAN-Pampanga

Recognizing the vital role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mabalacat City College participated the first quarterly meeting of the Universities SDG Action Network (USAN)-Pampanga, on 24 February 2025 at DHVSU Hostel. Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region III and six partner universities and colleges also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their commitment in this initiative.

MCC Exhibits First-Ever TISArt at National Arts Month Celebration

In celebration of the National Arts Month, Mabalacat City College hosted the first-ever TISArt, a chalk art exhibit, on 22 February 2025 in its annual art exhibit. This is in collaboration student organizations, PANTALAKAYAN and Campus Youth Ministry with this year’s theme is “Leguan: Balakat Art Exhibit,” held at Tabnuan: Mabalacat Cultural Center.
