MCC Academic Excellence Awardee in the 16th ALCUCOA National Conference

Among 144 local colleges and universities, Mabalacat City College is one of eight Academic Excellence awardees in the 16th Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) National Conference with the theme “The Future of Philippine Higher Education and Quality Assurance” on 02 October 2023 held at the Manila Hotel.

It can be remembered that MCC’s Passing Rate on the March 2022 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) was 100% while Ms. Maridol P. Salamante, a graduate of our Bachelor of Elementary Education with area of concentration in Pre-School ranked ninth.

MCC was awarded with a Certificate of Recognition that was received by the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Romeo D. Erese III together with the institute deans including IAS Dean Dr. Marilyn Arcilla, IBCE Dean Dr. Josephine Evangelista, and ITE Dean Dr. Arvina Sarmiento.

The Academic Excellence Award is presented to ALCUCOA Members who showed outstanding educational excellence by achieving a 100% Passing Rate or producing Topnotcher/s in the National Board Examinations from October 1 of the prior year to September 30 of the current year.

This recognition serves as a testament of the unwavering efforts of MCC to provide quality education and produce competent and outstanding professionals. Another set of activities will be held tomorrow 03 October 2023 for the continuation of the 16th ALCUCOA National Conference.

The event themed, “Pamakli Tamu Globally,” tackles topics on teaching internationally.
