MCC and the City Government of Mabalacat Celebrate the Approval of JUANA at Work Policy

June 08, 2021

MCC and the City Government of Mabalacat celebrated the commendation it received from Commission on Human Rights (CHR) for its WORKING JUANA POLICY. MCC is truly proud of this honor. This policy was inspired by the Juana-At-Work Policy of the college. This new gender-responsive policy, released under Executive Order No. 102 Series of 2021 by City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo, aims to provide assistance and ease the multiple burdens experienced by working mothers of the City Government of Mabalacat.

This is a victory to celebrate in showing a way of concretizing the ideals of Women’s Month for Mabalaquenians because MCC supports gender equality and diversity. Moreover, the policy is created particularly for women in recognition of the functions they do. It is committed to foster a supportive environment that contributes to the improvement of their health, wellness, and family relationship.

Dr. Michelle A. Ong, College President, quoted that “JUANA Policy is drawn out from many realistic inspirations. This prioritized beneficial features such as flexible work schedules that I think are really helpful for women.
