MCC Faculty Kicks-off A.Y. 24-25 with InSeT

Mabalacat City College Faculty received In-Service Training (InSeT) titled Advancing Excellence in Education: Enhancing Research Strategies and Implementing the BOPPS Lesson Planning on 05 August 2024. This intended to train faculty on Bridge-in, Objectives, Pre-assessment, Participatory learning, and Summary (BOPPS) model and create more engaging and effective learning experiences for students.

MCC President Michelle Aguilar-Ong, DPA spearheaded the morning session of the training where she talked about incorporating certificate courses to provide students with skills and knowledge needed in workforce. Her session delved into effective techniques for engaging and equipping students with the practical skills required by the industry.

Consequently, Vice President for Global Relations Opportunities and Workforce Development Prof. Raymond John Vergara tackled topic on internationalization. He explained the process of coordinating with Internationalization Office in collaborating with international and workforce partners.

This InSeT aimed to empower MCC faculty with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in both research and teaching. Through such activities, MCC remains steadfast in enriching and transforming both educators and students to ensure experiential and impactful academic journey.

In partnership with Mabalacat Community High School and supported by the MCC Campus Youth Ministry, the event transformed the campus into a vibrant display of global citizenship.
