Mabalacat City College Management Information System (MCC-MIS) together with its personnel participated in a 1-day "Fiber Optic Technology" Workshop on January 4, 2022.

The workshop highlighted the process of using fiber optic technology, splicing and connecting a fiber optic cable and fiber optic testing and troubleshooting.

According to MIS Head Engr. Erick Jaie David, this is in preparation for the institution’s limited face-to-face classes that will utilize a Smart Classroom.

Further, he said that "MIS would like to thank Engr. Derek Mallari and Mr. Adrian Buenaventura from Fiberhome for providing a free workshop, planning, and discussion on the latest news about Fiber Optic Technology that will benefit the whole academic community. Upgrading our Network Infrastructure will pave the way for smoother internet access inside the campus."

For the record, MIS continues to heighten its linkages in the community and aims towards the goal of digital transformation.
