MCC Signs MOA with MTVHS, SVNHS, SBRES for SHS Work Immersion

Mabalacat City – Mabalacat City College signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with three Senior High Schools (SHS); Mabalacat Technical Vocational High School (MTVHS), Santos Ventura National High School (SVNHS), and Sapang Biabas Resettlement Elementary School (SBRES) on 07 February 2024.

This collaboration is intended to provide SHS students from these schools with 80-hour training requirement for work immersion at MCC. The work immersion will cover various academic and technical-vocational tracks to hone their skills and capabilities in their respective tracks.

During the signing activity, MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong guaranteed that the students will be designated under offices and units relevant to their chosen track. MCC will equip two academic tracks, General Academic Strand (GAS) and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) and three Technical Vocational Livelihood tracks, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Hotel and Restaurant Services (HRS), and Tailoring with suitable training on their work immersion in the college.

This MOA signing represented the college's commitment to offer service through practical training opportunities for students in the community. Present during the activity were MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong, Office-in-Charge Vice President for Academic Affairs Ms. Marilyn S. Arcilla, MTVHS-SHS Principal Francisco A. Samonte, SVNHS-SHS School Head Arcelyn G. Flores, and SBRES-SHS Principal Arlyn M. Galang.
