July 08, 2021

Mabalacat City College, through its Internationalization Office proudly announces that Christopher P. Galang, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies from the Institute of Arts, Sciences and Teacher Education is selected as one of the 127 delegates from the Philippines in Asia World Model United Nations Virtual Conference on August 27-29, 2021.

Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) is a Model United Nations carrying different themes on each event. AWMUN aims to give young leaders from different places to broaden their networks and to provide a platform to share their perspectives, particularly on Political and Economic issues that will be discussed in each council.

AWMUN provides an atmosphere where participants can directly represent their assigned countries as official delegates and can feel the atmosphere of the United Nations conference. Therefore, AWMUN will be an excellent choice for young leaders who want to be heard, to compete, to get new experiences, and to broaden their network.

Mr. Galang will be participating in formal discussions about Preventing Terrorists from Acquiring Mass Destructive Weapons in the Disarmament and International Security Council of Asia World MUN.

MCC consistently finds international avenues for its students to participate in and gain more global education through various arenas.
