MCC Successfully Completes 2nd Batch of BLS Training

December 09, 2024

The Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) and the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) successfully conducted the second batch of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training on 3-5 December 2024 at MCC Cultural Hall. This equipped them with skills in life-saving and fostering commitment to social responsibility.

The three-day training focused on equipping participants with critical skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and basic first-aid techniques. Through theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations, students also had hands-on activity to develop their confidence and competence in real-life scenarios and had a first-hand experience guided by their facilitators.

Looking ahead, MCC is already preparing for its next batch of BLS training, which aims to build on the success of the previous batches and expand the reach of this vital program. MCC remains steadfast in its mission to provide holistic education, integrating practical skills into its curriculum to ensure that its graduates are not only academically prepared but also equipped to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
