More International Collaborative Projects for MCC in Day 3 of NAFSA 2022 Conference

June 3, 2022 (Local Date) - Today, MCC had a lengthy discussion with Dr. Stephanie M. Kelly, Executive Director of Community Colleges for International Development, for a possible long-term partnership of MCC and Lone Star College (Texas).

Further, MCC met with officials from John Paul II University, a Polish university, for student internship in 3 programs and faculty lecturer for 5 days to 2 weeks under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship programme.

The College also met with representatives from University of South Alabama for a possible cultural immersion of their Hospitality and Tourism students in the Philippines.

It may be the third day of the NAFSA 2022 Conference and Expo in Denver, Colorado but MCC shows no signs of slowing down on its goal of boosting its international presence.

Providing students, faculty, staff, and the community with insights and opportunities for studying abroad, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), widely known as the German Academic Exchange Service (GAES) conducted an information session on studying and researching in Germany on 26 April 2025. The event was part of MCC’s Reach-out and Move (ROM) Program, which aimed to invite various international academic exchange agencies to increase student and faculty mobility in the academe.
