PRC PRBCB Conducts Inspection and Monitoring in MCC

 

Professional Regulation Commission Professional Regulatory Board for Customs Broker (PRC PRBCB) visited MCC for a physical inspection and monitoring on 28 March 2023. This activity aimed to determine the compliance of the college with the professional, ethical, and technical standards of practice set by the board. As a college focused on meeting the needs of the community, this is part of MCC’s commitment to providing quality education to its students.

 

The inspectors toured around the campus to monitor and evaluate the compliance of the college with the regulations and standards set by the board. The inspection covered various aspects such as the facilities, curriculum, practicum programs, passing rate as well as faculty qualifications.

 

PRCB emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations and standards set by the board. It is essential for ensuring the quality of education provided to students and the growth of the customs brokerage profession.

 

“The experience in MCC is very pleasant. As a community college, MCC has reached beyond our expectations especially when it comes to the facilities, specifically the SMART classrooms as well as the values of the people in this community is being manifested,” noted PRC Representative Hon. Mary Elaine Espela.

 

MCC President Michelle Aguilar- Ong alongside AVPAA Dr. Romeo Erese III, IBCE Dean Dr. Josephine Evangelista, and IBCE Faculty presented the curriculum, practicum programs, and passing rate to the representatives from PRBCB including members of the PRB of Customs Broker Hon. Nenette Dagondon and Hon. Albert Cruz and PRC Representative Hon. Mary Elaine Espela.

 

MCC assured the PRC PRBCB of its commitment to complying with the standards set by the board. The institution believed that the inspection was an opportunity for continuous improvement and development of its Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) program.
