Tatak Tribu 2023: Makuleng Pagsagana Welcomes Freshmen to MCC

Mabalacat City College celebrated its annual Apertura on 14 September 2023, welcoming incoming freshmen with the theme "Tatak Tribu 2023: Makuleng Pagsagana." This tradition aimed to foster fellowship and create a healthy school environment among students.

During the event, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (AVPAA), Dr. Romeo D. Erese III emphasized the significance of this occasion. “We want you to enjoy this day as we welcome you to Mabalacat City College”, he noted. The Apertura Celebration also aimed to promote camaraderie among Crimson Tribe students, and it included the oath-taking of officers from accredited student organizations.

Freshmen paraded to the MCC grounds, where seniors welcomed them with symbolic gestures, signifying their official entry into their respective institutes. Student organizations organized games and activities to help freshmen get acquainted and choose which organizations to join. Additionally, there were competitions where students showcased their talents and skills.

The event's highlight was the Hydro Party featuring the MCC Band concert, where students enjoyed water splashing, marking themselves as part of the Crimson Tribe. The celebration also featured performances of students, organizations, and MCC employees, adding vibrancy and excitement to the event.
