Ms. Giezel S. Aquino is an accomplished professional in the field of hospitality and tourism, currently serving as a full-time instructor and Program Head of BS Tourism Management at the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management under Mabalacat City College since July 2022.

Ms. Giezel's extensive journey in the travel and tourism industry commenced at Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women, where she served as the faculty in-charge for the Vocational Course Travel Services from 2008 to 2017. During this tenure, she not only earned the National TVET Trainer Certificate in Travel Services but also honed her expertise in the Sabre and Amadeus Global Distribution System, specializing in these critical components of the industry. Simultaneously, she held crucial roles as the Department Coordinator for the Commercial Education Department and Discipline Coordinator for the entire institute. Her commitment to excellence extended to serving as the Document Data Controller for ISO 9001.

Giezel's commitment to the travel and tourism industry extends beyond the classroom, evident in her research endeavors focused on benefiting travel agencies, especially those closely associated with educational institutions. Her profound understanding of the relationship between academia and industry has not only shaped her teaching philosophy but has also contributed to the enhancement of specific skills crucial for success.

With a rich background that combines academic competence and industry experience, Ms. Giezel S. Aquino continues to help in shaping the future of aspiring professionals in the field of hospitality and tourism.
