Irene Christy M. Bacolod LPT, MAED

Irene Christy M. Bacolod is a full-time instructor at Mabalacat City College (MCC), Mabalacat City, Pampanga from 2008 up to the present.  She was a consistent honor student from her elementary to tertiary education. She received her degree of Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics - Cum Laude from Central Philippines State University in Negros Occidental, and was awarded the Best in Thesis. She acquired 18 units of education courses in the same institution and passed the Licensure Examination for Teacher Major in Mathematics.

She completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Measurement and Evaluation at Philippine Normal University, Manila, and a Master of Arts in Education Major in Mathematics at Pangasinan State University, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. Her areas of specialization are research, statistics, educational assessment, and mathematics. 

She is also a guest speaker on test and rubric constructions, wrote several institutional researches under her name and received an award of “Lector Magnificus” for the best research conducted at Mabalacat City College. She is also a validator of research instruments, research consultant, research adviser, and statistician for undergraduate, master’s degree, and doctorate studies from different educational institutions in Pampanga, Tarlac, Cabanatuan, Pangasinan and Negros Occidental. She was an author of MCC Faculty Manual of 2018 and the Institute Teacher Education Students Research Manual and co-authored the MCC Research Manual.

She was Mabalacat College Research Coordinator from 2008 to 2009, the President of the Mabalacat City College Faculty Association, Inc., and a member of the Board of Trustees of MCC for four (4) years from 2016 to 2019.
