Full-Time Faculty

Ms. Kaserin P. Icmat is a full-time instructor at Mabalacat City College. She was born on November 16, 1999 and raised in Bamban, Tarlac where she also finished her primary and secondary education as valedictorian and with high honors, respectively. In 2022, she finished her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at MCC and was awarded Magna Cum Laude. She became a Licensed Professional Teacher in 2023 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in educational management at Tarlac State University.

At present, she is the adviser of the League of Generalist, the organization of the Bachelor of Elementary Education students and a member of Philippine Association for Teacher Education.

Ms. Kaserin P. Icmat is an advocate for equal access to quality education for all Filipino children. She believes that if only schools could reach out and educate underprivileged children who are uncomfortable entering traditional educational institutions, they could gain the qualifications necessary for a decent job. This realization made her an advocate for equal access to quality education that will teach these children concrete skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Motivated by Olivia Spencer words, ‘Education is the panacea for all that ails us in our society,’ it is her goal to train future educators with whom she can work hand in hand to provide quality education for all Filipino children. She believes that this can be done through equipping the pre-service teachers of BEEd and BECEd holistically with the knowledge and workforce-ready skills they need. And that this preparation will enable them to be ready for the licensure examination and the professional workforce after graduation.
