Abstract
CrimeTrack: A Web-Based Case Information Management System for Mabalacat City Police Station was developed to enhance the efficiency of crime reporting, incident monitoring, record management, and information dissemination. The system was designed to assist both Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel and the citizens of Mabalacat City by providing a centralized platform for managing crime and incident-related information. It addresses the challenges of delayed reporting, manual record-keeping, limited public awareness, and difficulties in accessing accurate public safety information. The system aims to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement authorities and the community by promoting transparency, accessibility, and efficient communication. Through its web-based platform, users can submit incident and blotter reports, monitor case status, view crime-related information, and access public safety resources. These features facilitate faster data collection, improve coordination between citizens and police officers, and support timely responses to incidents. Furthermore, CrimeTrack utilizes a centralized database that enables the secure storage, retrieval, and management of crime and incident records. The system supports the analysis of crime patterns and trends, assisting the PNP in making informed decisions for crime prevention and public safety strategies. Overall, the implementation of CrimeTrack enhances operational efficiency, improves information accessibility, and contributes to building a safer and more informed community in Mabalacat City through the effective use of web-based technology.
