Abstract
In our current culture, technology plays a significant role particularly in the sector of education. A library management system with a QR code is an innovative solution to improve the efficiency of library operations. It is a computer-based system that automates the circulation of library materials such as books, magazines, journals, and other resources. It can also be used to track and manage the library, including borrowing and returning of materials. QR codes are two-dimensional barcodes that can store a variety of data, including contact information. By incorporating QR codes into a library management system, the library can quickly and easily access information about materials and services. QR codes can also be used to quickly check out and return library materials, reducing time spent at the circulation desk. This can help library operations and improve student and user’s satisfaction. In addition, QR codes can be used to facilitate communication between the head librarian and the staffs. Libraries can use QR codes to provide information about library services, upcoming events, and new resources. Libraries can also send messages such as overdue book notices or reminders about upcoming due dates. Using a library management system with QR codes can help libraries improve efficiency, reduce costs, and provide better customer service.
