Multi-Purpose Anti-Theft Box

Abstract
The researchers developed a “Multi-purpose Anti-Theft Box” with real-time location tracking using the application. The box consists of three levels of security, the first one is a keypad lock security located outside of the safety box, the user should input the correct passcode in order to open the safety box and if the passcode is incorrect, the box will not be going to open. The second level is the lift detection security, the safety box is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor which will give the box the ability to detect if it got lifted by a thief, and the buzzer will alarm to alert the thief and the safety box will send a message to the owner via smartphone and the alarm will only stop when the box is put back in place again and lastly is the real-time location tracking, the owner has the ability to track the box in real-time using the “Safety Box Tracker” application developed by the researchers, the owner must log in first using the username and password provided by the researchers to view the position of the safety box in the map. Both mobile applications and prototypes have separate tables of test cases. Each test case was repeatedly performed to ensure that the functionalities were achieved according to the design requirements.
