Abstract
There are increasing numbers of IoT devices worldwide. New inventions and innovative ideas have been created as time pass. The Remoteli project is a raspberry-pi based IOT device that is a remotely controlled display system. The goal underscores the displaying of information conveniently that advances other information disseminating means for its flexibility. Posters, local newspapers and local radio takes time and effort to release information, especially urgent news. Remoteli is an innovation to previous technology that can alter its display information anytime remotely which makes its system smart. The researchers use Prototyping Methodology to test and improve the prototype product. It allows the researchers to define the possible problems that may be encountered by the users and refine a solution until ready to implement. The researchers illustrated the system using a designing tool to overview the appearance and the layout of the website application and determine the needed features. The researcher created a test case to verify and validate the developed webbased advertisement system functionality and suitability across a set of actions or conditions to verify the expected results for more stable performance of the Remoteli and for a better user experience. With all of the tests made, the researchers concluded that the overall objective of the study and system acceptance was achieved. Better devices and a purchased domain are recommended for the system to run to its full potential.
