ASEAN Month Celebration Kicks-off the 1st Sayaw ASEANO in MCC

As part of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Month Celebration, Mabalacat City College inaugurated the “Sayaw ASEANO” last 06 September 2023 at MCC main ground in a stride to historical and cultural significance.

"Sayaw ASEANO" celebrated the multicultural landscape of ASEAN countries through dance performances. MCC academic institutes represented four different countries in the cultural dance competition, where Mr. Noel Calma, Mr. Dionisio Magbalot Jr., and Dr. Alma Pineda served as distinguished judges.

The Institute of Business and Computing Education won first place (Cambodia), followed by the Institute of Arts and Sciences (Thailand) in second place, the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (Cambodia) in third place, and the Institute of Teacher Education (Singapore) in fourth place.

The event underscored MCC's commitment to promoting global citizenship and cultural understanding. It demonstrated the power of art and culture in bringing people together and celebrating diversity within the ASEAN region.
