IHTM OJT Coordinators Visit Establishments for Internship

The pandemic brought about changes in the education sector which now forms part of the new normal. OJT Coordinators must look for respected establishments compliant with IATF Health and Safety Protocols for the Internship Programs of their students who will undergo On-the-Job Training. One of the goals of the Internship Program is to apply and enhance the Hospitality and Tourism Management competencies and skills relevant to the careers to which the program is aligned.

OJT Coordinator for Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management Mr. Joven Ocampo, OJT Coordinator for Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Ms. Jennyfer Merza, and Partnerships and Linkages Coordinator Mr. Kevin Peralta visited Midori Clark Hotel and Casino, Angelic Premiere Residences, Park Inn by Radisson Clark and Travel Escape Travel and Tours to inspect and evaluate their health protocols in place as well as their facilities.

Mr. Ocampo, Ms. Merza, and Mr. Peralta seek a memorandum of agreement between the college and select establishments to be signed as soon as the procedures for conducting the internship programs for the hospitality and tourism management students of the institution are finalized.
