MCC Admission Drives to Community

March 10, 2025

Ensuring that everyone in the community is given the opportunity to apply for college admission, Mabalacat City College in partnership with 27 barangays in Mabalacat City conducted a community admission drive on 5-6 March 2025. More than 100 incoming freshmen applicants were catered for campus tour and onsite application for college admission.

Last 5-6 February, MCC went to the different barangays in the City to disseminate information about the college's campus tour and onsite application while barangay personnel enlisted grade 12 students who were not able to apply for college admission on 10-21 February. Listed applicants were toured around the campus to familiarize them with the college’s different facilities before proceeding to MCC-CHED Ideahub to process their onsite application.

Precedingly, MCC’s different programs and initiatives were discussed by Vice President for Global Relations, Opportunities and Workforce Development Prof. Raymond John D. Vergara to assure that students are given quality education.

College admission applicants noted the assistance that this initiative has provided. “Malaking tulong po siya sa mga katulad ko na napagsaraduhan ng application para ma-inform at magkaroon ng chance para mag-apply,” Daniel James C. Lansang highlighted.

Through this collaboration, this initiative intended to ensure a smooth transition of incoming students into college. Furthermore, MCC believes partnering with community leaders can help provide students with opportunities to excel and succeed.
