MCC and ISA Ink Partnership for PGS

February 16, 2022

MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong and Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) Chief Executive Officer Mr. Leonardo Berba signed today the Memorandum of Agreement to officially engage ISA’s services to install the Performance Governance System (PGS) at MCC.

Mr. Berba stated that ISA is very excited to work with its VERY FIRST PUBLIC EDUCATION PARTNER. They are hoping that this engagement will serve as an inspiration to the government to give more attention to the educational system, and to all other public educational institutions outside Metro Manila to integrate PGS in their organization.

President Ong expressed that the purpose of integrating PGS in the institution is to ensure stability and balance. The PGS is a strong tool in making certain that the long-term plans and goals of the institution are carried through despite the unpredictability of the political landscape in the Philippines.

With the signing of the MOA with ISA, MCC has sealed the deal of being one of ISA’s partners in transforming and empowering public institutions for a better Philippines.

PGS is framework for transformation that empowers institutions to deliver breakthrough results. It contributes to national development and inclusive growth by guiding institutions through a four-stage pathway designed to create, execute, and sustain effective transformation strategies.
