MCC and Lone Star College Kick-Off Virtual Orientation on Education and Partnership Opportunities

Mabalacat City College Internationalization Office in cooperation with the Lone Star College (USA) conducted a virtual orientation for academic exchange between the two institutions' faculty to collaborate and participate in insightful sessions on International Education in different subject areas that will start in the month of March.

The orientation began with MCC Vice President for External Affairs Mr. Raymond John D. Vergara welcoming the participants online. International Programs, Honors, and International Education Director Perzen Akolawala from Lone Star College shared the actual procedures of academic exchanges. Faculty from the School of Teacher Education (STE) and School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) initiated meaningful discussions on subjects being taught and shared their first-hand teaching experiences and made discussions on providing educational materials with the faculty members of Lone Star College.

The orientation paved the way for an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education.
