MCC Attends the 16th ALCU National Conference 

The Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) conducted the 16th National Conference 2023 with the theme "Reimagining Local Universities and Colleges Leadership: Looking through the Future of Higher Education Institutions." 

To represent MCC, the Director for Kayantabe, Ms. Carol Robles Arboleda, and the MCC Planning Coordinator, Engr. Maria Benemella Claire Dayrit attended the two-day national conference held at Quezon City University on January 26-27. Other executive officials and members of the participating LUCs in the Philippines were also present. 

The plenary speakers, which consisted of ALCU officials and executive officials, shared their insights and experiences as LUCs in the Philippines responded to change, reimagined school leadership, and steered the wheel for development.

This equipped them with skills in life-saving and fostering commitment to social responsibility.

The Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) and the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) successfully conducted the first batch of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students on 25-26 November 2024 at MCC Cultural Hall. The event brought together over 100 first-year students, equipping them with skills in life-saving and fostering commitment to social responsibility.
