MCC, BSP Jumpstart Financial Literacy Program

2 June 2023—MCC Student Life Division and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas(BSP) partnered to facilitate a Financial Literacy Program to students at the MCC Main Campus’ E-Library. This program aimed to equip individuals with essential knowledge and skills related to personal finance and money management.

The Financial Literacy Program, organized by MCC's Student Life Division, sought to address the need for financial education among students as they transition into the next phase of their lives. The program covered various topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, understanding credit, and managing debt.

With the support and expertise of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas through its representative, BSP Bank Officer IV Ms. Ma. Lourdes Laconsay, the program provided valuable insights and guidance on financial matters, ensuring that participants gained a better understanding of how to make informed decisions regarding their finances, practical tips, strategies, and resources to help individuals build a solid foundation for financial stability and independence.
