MCC Initiates Community Admissions Drive

Ensuring that everyone in the community is given the opportunity to apply for college admission, MCC collaborated with the 27 barangays in Mabalacat City to gather incoming college freshmen. MCC provided career guidance service, campus tour and utilization of the computer laboratories to process the applicants’ online application.

MCC believes partnering with community leaders can help provide students with opportunities to excel and succeed. Through a collaborative partnership between the MCC and barangay chairs in the city, the initiative intended to ensure a smooth transition of incoming students into college.

Representatives from MCC admissions office visited the 27 barangays and gathered the list of incoming college freshmen from 8-23 February 2024. Consequently, Career guidance and campus tour were conducted on 12-27 February 2024.

Currently, 93 incoming college freshmen are processing their online application in MCC Cisco Laboratory. This part of the Community Admissions Drive will be until 7 March 2024.
