MCC, SamSU to Forge Future Collaboration

Aiming to establish a strategic partnership, Mabalacat City College (MCC) and Samarkand State University (SamSU) met virtually, via Microsoft Teams on 05 November 2024. The discussion was focused on enhancing research, education, and international exchange.

Representatives from both institutions shared ideas on joint research projects, specialized training programs, and exchange opportunities tailored to boost global competencies and cross-cultural understanding for both MCC and SamSU students. SamSU is a public university in Samarkand, Uzbekistan established by a government decree of the Government of Uzbekistan in 1927.

Both institutions intended to serve the community and students through competitive training and education. Hence, the dialogue centered around shared goals for institutional collaboration and various initiatives that promise to benefit both institutions. The meeting concluded with both sides looking forward to signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to formalize the partnership.

This focused on academic and cultural exchanges through faculty and student exchange programs, collaborative workshops and conferences, and joint research initiatives.
