MCC Stories Maria Yvonne Crocker

December 07, 2023

Maria Yvonne Crocker, who was recently hailed as Mutya ng Pilipinas-Pampanga 1st runner-up, is a second year BS Tourism Management student at Mabalacat City College. Aside from being a full-time student and beauty queen, Yvonne is an active student leader in the college serving as a board member in their Institute Student Council.

Yvonne highlights the support of the college and her institute in their pageant journey. “Everyone was very supportive from the start, especially our IHTM Dean, and that kind of support for us beauty queens is not simple, it boosts our confidence. Somehow, we knew that win or lose we have someone who will support us”, she expounds.

She has also managed to fulfill the duties of being a student, leader and beauty queen at the same time despite the struggles to juggle her schedule. She emphasized the importance of discipline and proper time management in order to carry out all of her responsibilities.

As MCC continues to ensure the experiential and quality learning of its students by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge in their fields, it never forgets to promote a culture of care by providing the Crimson Tribe support.
