In line with this, Mabalacat City College congratulates Dr. Juliet Mallari, National Committee on Literary Arts Head of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and her team, for the successful book launching of "Tuglung" that featured different Kapampangan luminaries and their literary pieces including Mr. Michelangelo E. Cayanan’s “Ima”, Mr. Kevin Peralta’s “Paraluman”, Mr. Ralfh Emerson Macapagal’s “Deng Porselana”, Mr. Yasser Puno’s “Pamikawani”, Dra. Ana Liza Sitchon's "Oh Balen kung Palsintan" and Mr. Raymond John Vergara’s “Suku”.

Mr. Raymond John D. Vergara, Vice President for External Affairs, said that “it is a great honor for MCC to be part of this milestone. This partnership allows other Kapampangans to express their thoughts and emotions through writing in their native language.”

Dr. Malanie Viloria-Briones, Vice President for Academic Affairs, exclaimed that "The pen undeniably has been an instrument of awareness and immortalization of history and culture, and for this undertaking, our very own Kapampangan heritage."
