Student Representatives Pay Tribute to their Teachers

A tribute to all MCC instructors and professors was held on the night of the World Teachers’ Day celebration, spearheaded by the MCC Supreme Student Council which was attended by over 200 participants witnessing the remarkable event. 

One of the highlights of the event was when College President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong announced during her opening remarks that MCC is one of the grantees of i-Lab, an innovative project of CHED led by Chairman Prospero De Vera. She shared that she attended a virtual meeting with CHED and some of the nationally renowned universities, with Mabalacat City College being the only local college granted with the said project, which was proudly applauded by the attendees. 

As the event continued, the student representatives individually sent their messages of appreciation to their instructors and professors. The event was concluded by a message delivered by the SSC President, Mr. Denmark Blances, sending his gratitude to all of the teachers and organizers of the event. Food packages to be distributed to all teachers was also announced.

This marked the integration of Mabalacat City’s cultural heritage into the MCC-101 course, a core subject designed to orient students to the institution's values and foster civic engagement.
