Mabalacat City College celebrated its annual Apertura on 14 September 2023, welcoming incoming freshmen with the theme "Tatak Tribu 2023: Makuleng Pagsagana." This tradition aimed to foster fellowship and create a healthy school environment among students.
During the event, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (AVPAA), Dr. Romeo D. Freshmen paraded to the MCC grounds, where seniors welcomed them with symbolic gestures, signifying their official entry into their respective institutes. Student organizations organized games and activities to help freshmen get acquainted and choose which organizations to join. Additionally, there were competitions where students showcased their talents and skills.
