MCC Congratulates, Supports CAFC

City Agriculture and Fishery Council (CAFC) held Election and Meeting on 17 July 2023 at Mabalacat City College Cultural Hall. This provided a platform for CAFC to discuss updates on banner programs, and elect new leaders to spearhead initiatives for food sustainability.

City Agriculture Office Officer-in-Charge Mr. Jeam Jesus M. Espanta talked about the value of the farmers and fishermen in food sustainability and economic development through the Foreign Seasonal Workers Program. The re-elected Chairperson of CAFC, Mr. Romeo G. Manalang, highlighted the council's programs and the support it provides to the City of Mabalacat. He emphasized the importance of collaboration to achieve the council’s goals.

Alongside the re-elected Chairperson, new officers Vice Chairperson Mr. Jimmy Dizon, Secretary Mr. Ener David, Treasurer Mr. Robin Dimarucut, and Auditor Mr. Nicomeded Tulabut were elected to assist the leadership and strengthen the programs of the council.

Mabalacat City College extends its heartfelt congratulations to the new leadership and eagerly anticipates engaging in various programs where the college can actively contribute.

30 November 2023 — Our Lady of Grace Parish (OLGP) and Function Hall overflowed with joy as the community gathered for the "Binyagang Bayan" celebration, themed "Uniting Hearts, Blessing Souls." This special event, meticulously organized by the BSHM 4B Events Class with the guidance of Ma'am Maricar S. Besa, embraced 40 children from underprivileged families in Mabalacat City, welcoming them into the Christian faith through the sacrament of baptism. The event not only marked a religious celebration but also showcased the students’ commitment to uplifting underprivileged community members.

November 15, 2023 — Mabalacat City College Corporate College and Lifelong Learning Coordinator Ms. Mikaela Joy M. Garcia provided an insightful talk, titled "FROM STRESS TO SUCCESS: Empowering Employees through Mental Health," in the Vitabread Food Products Employee Mental Health Awareness Seminar. The seminar was designed to raise awareness on mental health issues, promote help-seeking behaviors, and encourage emotional well-being practices.
