Mabalacat City College's Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) organized a culminating activity for the BSHM-2A students titled "Kain Tayo: Enjoy the Grandness of our Filipino Food" on 03 July 2023 at MCC Hometown Bar and Restaurant. This offered a unique blend of tribal and traditional Filipino experiences that showcased the richness of Filipino culture.
The event aimed to provide an opportunity for attendees to savor the diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine from various regions across the country. It was a celebration of the culinary heritage of the Philippines.
The parents of the participating students recognized their children's involvement in the activity and commended both the students and the event organizers. They expressed delight and amazement at how the students were able to cook and present the dishes they had learned throughout their course.
They also commended MCC and IHTM for hosting such an event, emphasizing that it provided them with an authentic restaurant experience, from the impeccable service to the delectable taste of the dishes.
The support and presence of Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Romeo D. Erese III and Assistant Vice President for Student Life Prof. Beejay Sebastian reinforced the importance of this activity.
