Bachelor of Physical Education

The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) is a 4-year program generally designed but not limited to individuals who are aspiring to pursue a career in the teaching profession with an in-depth study of sports, physical fitness, games, recreation, movement education and basic health studies infused with pedagogical techniques that ensure the effective delivery of instruction. The program develops and advances students’ insights, understanding and appreciation of Physical Education and Sports as a worthwhile discipline present or applicable in all dimensions of social activities.

Graduates of this program are expected to exhibit:

    • The Program was established in 2009 and was formerly known as the education program for Music, Arts and Physical Education (MAPEH). The program is duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and has a Level 1 accreditation from the Association of Local Colleges and Universities, Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA). The program also has strong linkages with the City Schools Division of Mabalacat City.

      Health Office, and other organizations that provide practicum opportunities and other relevant training to MCC students. Experiential learning also plays a big role in the program. Students’ involvement in various programs like organizing physical education activities, serving as officiating official in sports competitions, participating in various sports, dance and cultural competitions, playing as varsity members in various teams of the school are all evidences of MCC’s student-centered learning.

      MCC takes pride with her constant above National Mean Rate in the Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) that produced countless professional teachers now employed in different schools, with some pursuing Graduate studies.
