C.A.R.T.S: Customization and Reservation Tailoring System for EJ Ezon Sportswear

Abstract

This capstone study covered the transition of manual tailoring methods into a web-based content management system. With that being said, the C.A.R.T.S web system aimed to provide an online platform for EJ Ezon Sportswear, the locale chosen for this study which provides tailoring products and services. In addition, the web system features ordering and customization which are only accessible for walk-ins before the study commenced. To develop and design the C.A.R.T.S web system, waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) was used by the researchers. Subsequently, the capstone group succeeded in identifying the system requirements needed to run the necessary open-source software. The backend was successfully integrated along with the responsive frontend design. Moreover, 2D visualization has been achieved, converting the locale's premade product designs and jersey templates and allocated them to the shop and customize page. To test the system for quality assurance, user-access-based functionality test cases were implemented and were successful. C.A.R.T.S web system was developed and designed as a fully functional web-based capstone project, and could be freely accessed online using the address: https://ej-ezon-carts.com. However, during the final defense of the capstone project, it was recommended by the board of panel to display the available sizes of the premade products the moment the customer lands on the shop page, to display dates when orders are tracked on the notifications page, and to integrate GCash API should the web system undergoes a further update in the future. Regardless, it was declared that all recommendations prior to the final defense have been met, and the researcher concluded that the overall objective of the study and system acceptance were achieved.
