Abstract

Mobile games are very popular nowadays because technology keeps on innovating. Technology such as a mobile phone is very useful for the users to make a call, send a message, browse on the Internet, etc. Due to good technological advancement, there are also bad consequences for having this. One is lack of focus especially studying because of distractions from mobiles phones. For this reason, the researchers decided to create an educational tower defense game with the concept of Philippine history to educate the user while having fun playing this game. The researchers used an Evolutionary Prototype Model to receive feedback from the testers to create the project better. The prototype research design model shown in the study was used in the development of UI designs and application development. To validate both functionalities and game design of the project, the researchers used MEEGA+ as a test case. The researchers also used stratified sampling in identifying the IT graduates who voluntarily participated to be the respondents for the test case. Based on the test case results, the researchers have proven that the project met all the objectives of the study as well as its requirements.
