CHED Facilitates “PADYAK sa Extension and Productivity”

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - Regional Office III, in observance of CHED’s 27th Founding Anniversary and 1st National Higher Education Day, facilitated “PADYAK sa Extension and Productivity” that showcased some of the Best Practices and Initiatives of Higher Education Institutions in Mitigating the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic aligned with the CLRHEAP - Thematic Area for Extension and Productivity held last May 20, 2021. It was participated by 100 participants from 7 regions of the Philippines. 

The Commission on Higher Education-Regional Office III recognized Mabalacat City College's proactive action, guided by its vision and mission, to rise above the challenges of the pandemic and to proceed with the school’s extension activities which have a significant and positive impact on the lives of the people in the community.

Dr. Maria Teresita Macans Semana, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Director IV, CHEDRO III acknowledged the importance of collaboration between LGU’s an innovative Higher Education Institutions in coming up with favorable practices amidst the pandemic. “Conducting research is an important tool in Mitigating the Effects of COVID-19”, she added.
