GCC Benchmarks MCC's Best Practices

Mabalacat City College (MCC) hosted a benchmarking activity with Gapan City College (GCC) on 09 June 2023. The college shared its best practices, flagship programs and diverse services that cater not only the students, but the entire community as well.

Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Romeo Erese III led the activity. Vice Presidents of the different offices of MCC also presented the wide range of services and programs they offer. As GCC delegates toured the MCC campus, they were given the opportunity to witness firsthand how the facilities, services, and programs offered by the college contribute to the overall educational experience at MCC.

GCC President Atty. Joe Patrick Leonor had a one-on-one closed-door meeting with MCC President Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong where they discussed on continuous educational improvement, leadership, and the community college framework.

GCC delegates lauded the state-of-the-art facilities of MCC. “Very excited po kami today. Sobrang amazed kami sa mga nakikita namin. Madami kaming mga nakikita [programs and services] na pwede naming i-adapt sa school namin”, GCC Vice President for Administration Mr. Jerome Dizon, MBA expressing enstusiasm over the benchmarking opportunity.

The GCC administration is eager to adopt MCC’s best practices as GCC plans to transition to a community college.

This activity is a testament to the dedication of MCC and GCC in elevating their standards and educational experiences. Through this activity the field of education continues to evolve, ensuring that students and the community receive the best possible opportunities for their endeavors.
